Alma and Oxford have nicely maintained, inexpensive 9-hole golf courses.  Tournaments are scheduled throughout the year.  

Alma's modern clubhouse features a bar and banquet facility with excellent views of the course, and Oxford's Cardinal Country Club has a health club with a racquetball court, Nautilus weights, free weights and exercise equipment.
